2022 Spotlight Personal Statement
My name is Jose Lorenzo Santos and I am from Glen Cove, New York . I am currently a Senior attending Glen Cove High School. I have been playing golf for 1.5 year. I currently have a +1.1 handicap and a 72 18 hole average. I play varsity golf for Glen Cove High School and have been a part of the golf team for two season so far. Our home courses are Glen Cove Golf Coarse where we practice five out of five days of the week. In the summer I play in competitive local tournaments. Golf has taught me about leadership and the importance of hard work and integrity on and off the golf course. My goal is to attend a university where I can excel both in the classroom and on the golf course.
