In college, my goal is to join a golf team that allows me to reach my full potential as a golfer and scholar. As a golfer, I am a smart and consistent team player who strives to improve with each round played, while my discipline sets me apart from my peers. Because of my mild-mannered and level-headed temperament, I am able to keep my emotions in check and remain extremely focused on and off the course, which has resulted in success both athletically and academically.
I have only recently started playing competitive tournament golf which has resulted in rapid improvement in both my scores and all aspects of my game. Although I have seen great improvement in the past year, I am certain there is much more growth ahead of me. Therefore, I will continue to work hard and am hoping to match with a college and coach that will help me succeed in this goal.
Although golf is my passion, academic success is equally important to me, and that same discipline I strive for on the course carries over into the classroom, where I have managed to maintain a 4.0 average. I am extremely excited for the next step in my academic and athletic career, and know that I would be a great addition to your golf team.
