My name is Elijah Abundis; ever since a child it has been a dream of mine to play at a Division 1 university and ultimately pursing a professional career in the sport. I believe that my dedication, hard work, and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ have shaped me into the individual I am today.
From a young age, I have been captivated by the game of golf and its unique blend of skill, strategy, and mental fortitude has always fascinated me. I have spent countless hours on the range and course, honing my skills and pushing myself to new limits. Through the high and lows, I have learned the value of perseverance and the importance of maintaining a strong work ethic.
I firmly believe that hard work is the key to success, and I am not afraid to put in the extra hours of practice, to push myself beyond my comfort zone, and to continually seek improvement. Whether it's refining my swing technique, enhancing my mental game, or improving my physical fitness, I am committed to doing whatever it takes to reach my full potential as a golfer.
As I embark on this next chapter of my life, I am determined to make the most of every opportunity that comes my way. My goal of playing Division 1 golf is not just a dream; it is a tangible target that I am relentlessly pursuing. I am confident that with my work ethic, passion, and unwavering faith, I will be able to achieve this goal and make a positive impact on your college golf program.
Lastly, I would like to thank my parents, family, friends, coaches, and my Heavenly Father for all the support and belief that I can achieve this goal of mine. Without you guys I can whole heartily say I would not be the same man I am today.

- This tournament takes place every year and this year I was able to make it to the Championship flight and played against some college players and non pro scratch golfers. Overall great experience and was able to learn and grow from this experience. I was also able to put a solid 3 days with a 70, 74, 71 total 1 under.

- It was a one day but I had to wake up at 4:30 to drive to my tournament. It was also very hot and humid and I didn't go to sleep till later because my family from Cali drove in. Overall able to push through and put a solid round of 1 under and was able to take 1st.

- This was a big tournament that takes place every year in NC. It is a local tournament for me but I am able to play with random people, up to the pros and D1 college players.

- Colby Harris is my swing coach and my trainer. Colby Harris has trained many pro athletes from sports like baseball, golf, football or fitness in general. Overall he is a professional trainer and golfer as well.

- During the summer Colby Harris my swing coach and trainer will train me and other athletes in his private gym. However during the season at school I have to train at Christ School. We have our own gym and a strength coach who has taught many professional athletes as well.

Yes. AP Environmental Science: I love science so I decided to take a harder course this year. Its more work and very complex. AP Art History: I love history so studying art and history is very fascinating to me. AP Government and Politics: I love to talk about government and learn how the world works. To me this class is fun but can be challenging. AP Language: This class if very difficult with the amount of work however I do want to improve on my language arts so taking a higher class is something I decided to do.Registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center?
