I have been golfing for a little over four years, therefore I do not have the decade plus career profile like most of my competitors. I realize that sounds like an awkward fact to include in my profile; I see it as a positive. In less than four years since teaching myself how to play golf, I have developed in to a golfer who can compete at the highest level. Each year my scores have made significant improvement. My commitment to practice has brought me from a beginner to earning 2nd place at the NCISAA 2A State Tournament. I am dedicated to maintaining that level of improvement through high school and beyond.
As a multi sport athlete my entire life, I have learned the value of teamwork. My greatest memories and friendships have been with teammates. As a golfer I realize the importance of competing for the best individual score. However, I hold fast to a team first mentality. Winning as an individual and losing as a team have never been my goal.
I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. This has been, and always will be the focal point of my life. I strive to represent Him well both on and off the golf course. This relationship also contributes to how I represent the school and the team that I play for.
