  • To Whom It May Concern: My name i s Bobby and I am writing t o you on behalf of Cole Rouse. I have had t he pleasure of working with Cole f or t he past 2 going on 3 years, and I have been able t o witness his development i nto t he golfer he i s t oday t hrough hard work and dedication t o his t echnical and physical t raining. I knew Cole had a special t alent when he came i n his f irst session and set t he f acility record f or swing speed f or 13 year olds - 99.4 mph. We have had t he pleasure of working with many of t he top j unior players i n t he state of North Carolina, many of whom have gone on t o have successful college careers, and t o see him break t he record his f irst session was astounding! What has been even more i mpressive i s i nstead of resting on his success, Cole has dedicated himself greatly t o his physical t raining t o not only t ake f ull advantage of his i mmense t alents but also t o stay healthy while competing at t he highest l evel of j unior golf i n North Carolina. Each meeting I have with him, he not only comes with higher, l oftier goals f or himself, but understands the work necessary t o reach t hese goals. This combination i s rare and I have seen i t i n f ew players i n my 3 years exclusively working with high-level golfers. To give an i dea of his continued physical development, t he l ast t ime we measured his swing speed, h e became t he first j unior golfer we have t ested under 16 years old t o reach 120 mph of swing speed - t o put this i n perspective, we have t ested over 200 golfers i n his age group. Even more i mpressive i s how he has stayed healthy with a regular stretching and strengthening routine. Again, each session I have with him, he continues t o exceed t he previous metrics and set higher goals f or himself. I f of i nterest, a spreadsheet i s attached t o t his l etter detailing more of his physical accomplishments due t o both his t alent and t he work he has put t owards becoming a better golfer. I believe t hat t he sky i s t he l imit f or Cole. Speed i s becoming a highly sought-after skill i n t he game of golf, and Cole has developed himself t o possess t ruly elite speed. As t he rest of his game i mproves and matures, I know he will continue t o be atop t he l eaderboard at big events like his l atest 6th place f inish at t he Dogwood Junior Boy’s t ournament. If I can answer any questions about Cole’s progress please f eel f ree t o contact me. Bobby Prengle, PT, DPT Directory of Research and Rehabilitation Par4Success Sport Performance Morrisville,
