2021 SpotlightPersonal Statement
- I'm proud to announce that I have verbally committed to further my academic and athletic career at Ohio University (DI). I’m confident I've landed with a program where I can work with a great coach, contribute to a team, and achieve success academically. I'm thankful to Coach Whitis for this amazing opportunity!
- My senior high school golf season ended after turning in a team score of 297 at Districts, the lowest in my school's history. I led the team with a 73. Unfortunately, the Ohio High School Athletic Association only takes 2 teams from our district to the State Championship and we were beat by 1 stroke. The OCC is one of the most competitive conferences in the state. It was a disappointing end to the season, but I'm proud of our team: in 20 events, we won 8 and finished runner up in 5 with a total win-loss record of 217-28. I was team medalist in 7 events, and my overall scoring average was 74 throughout the season. I received the Captain's award from my coach and second team OCC. I finished the fall at the Golfweek Junior Tour event at NCR, 75-70, finishing T6.
