2021 Spotlight Personal Statement
Ever since I was little, I have been competitive in everything I do. I played my first golf tournament at the age of 6 and golf provides me with an outlet for that competitiveness. I also play competitive hockey, so understand what it means to be part of a team. I have learned how to not only contribute while I was on the ice, but how to be a leader and good teammate on and off the ice.
Being a good student who works hard and has experience competing in a team sport as well as an individual sport will make me an asset to a college golf team.
My ultimate goal is to attend a good college in the US to earn a business degree while playing competitively the sport I love - golf.
