Elvis Steen '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches my name is Elvis Steen and I am looking to not just play college golf, but to work my way up and compete for the national title by the time I graduate college. 

Due to illness when I started playing golf, I had to fight through physical pain and obstacles just to make it through a round.  My mental toughness has improved greatly and it has allowed me to have an advantage over other players. 

I am unlike any other recruit because I am not only a very likeable and outgoing person, I believe hard work doesn't just happen in the golf course alone. Improvement requires time in the gym, reading books, eating the correct diet, getting ahead in schoolwork, and maintaining relationships with close ones.

I believe golf is a microcosm of life.  Just like in life anything can happen- good or bad- and you have to know how to stay present within yourself and have a positive outlook on life.
