Nicolas Macias '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nick Macias, my birthday is August 8th, 2002. I have played competitive Golf since I was 7 years old with well over 200 Tournaments including AJGA events for the past 4 years. I am also part of the Vandegrift High School Varsity team in Austin, Texas. In my free time, I love to play basketball, fish and listen to music. I also volunteer to help out organizations in the Austin area through the Young Men's Service League or YMSL. My home Course is the University of Texas Golf Club where you can find me practicing the game I love everyday. This past summer I began to work on a development program in order to further improve my game through structured practice with drills and course management work as well. I am very dedicated to and love the game of Golf and would like to compete at the next level in college while getting my degree. I would like to play somewhere closer to the south where it stays warmer year round allowing me to practice, fish, hunt, and generally be outdoors.
