I am a good candidate for your team because I am hardworking with a good attitude. I am also very consistent and always there for the team and practice. Since I have always enjoyed helping people, I want to become a nurse after college. I enjoy science and the medical field. However, my first love is golf, and I would like to play in college (my ultimate dream is to play professionally). I began hitting balls in my backyard when I was three years old. My father was a golf pro and instructor. He taught me how to play golf and how to swing a club. I believe he passed his love for golf down to me. Unfortunately, my father and I have become estranged, but we are still able to connect through golf. Golf is my passion. I am fascinated by how it makes physical demands on the player AND requires mental toughness. While it is a challenging, demanding sport, there is no better way to relax and ground myself than to play a few holes. It has been a constant while other interests and hobbies have faded. I am in love with the game.
