Cooper Cawley '21 Recruiting Profile

I have played soccer since I was two years old, competitively since I was nine.  I've held positions all over the field.  I am a versatile player, willing to play wherever I can make the greatest contribution.  As a sophomore, I was a starter on varsity and earned first team all district and academic all district honors.  As a junior, I am captain of the varsity team at school and play holding midfielder.  My club team competes at the premier level in the US Youth Soccer Frontier Conference.  I play defender, holding midfielder, and attacking midfielder.  My versatility, coupled with a level-headed demeanor, make me a very coachable player.  It is worth noting, I was recognized by my club coach as the player showing the most improvement throughout the season.   

In addition to playing soccer, I have been a referee since I was seven years old.  I was selected to represent the South Texas region at the the Region III ODP camp.  Being a referee provides a unique perspective and respect for the game.

In college I plan to pursue a degree in business.  I also plan to continue playing soccer at a high level throughout college.
