Personal Statement

My ultimate desire is to play golf at a college that also fulfills my academic goals. I am a multisport athlete with a natural ability to adjust and acclimate my talent where needed. I have only been playing golf competitively for about 18 months and have already dropped 23.5 strokes. I was awarded a varsity letter for golf, as well as, newcomer of the year. My greatest moment in golf was when I made a hole-in-one during practice, witnessed by a couple of my teammates! With the help of a pro instructor, using the Trackman golf simulator, and competing in more elite tournaments, I hope to be shooting in the low 70's before college. I would say I am a coachable athlete and an academically inclined student with a strong work ethic and moral compass.
