I became committed to track & field after my first season in my 7th grade year, so I continued training for my respective events for years to come. In my 8th grade year, I got an unofficial personal best of 11.87 unofficially and 12.21 officially. In my sophomore year, I ran the 100m, 4x100m, 4x200m, and the 4x400m. I ran a 11.77 split time from the starting blocks in the 4x100 and a 54.12 split in the 4x400 relay. On the 100m, I ran a time of 12.19 in temperatures below 60*F with extreme winds from the side. Looking ahead in my Junior year, I plan on hitting a time of 11.1 or lower in the 100m and a time of 50 seconds or lower in the 400m. Outside of the track, I enjoy doing extracurricular activities such as choir and orchestra. Furthermore, I make sure that I do not get below an 85 in my grades. I want to keep my grades high as my graduating class is very competitive. I am usually a goofy kid, but whenever it comes to important things to me, I take them very serious.
Looking ahead of high school, I plan on studying in pre-med courses and majoring in biology. I of course also want to compete in track at the collegiate level to keep pushing myself to new heights.
