I am a dedicated, hardworking, and values-driven student-athlete. As a hockey and varsity golf captain, I have honed my leadership skills, developed a team-oriented mentality, and learned the importance of perseverance and teamwork.
My passion for golf has led me to follow a strict workout routine, which includes strength training in the weight room every morning at 6:15 am, even during summers. I also practice or play golf every day, including private swing coach lessons, to track my progress and improve my game continually. My commitment to excellence is unwavering, and I strongly believe that my determination and passion make me a valuable asset to any college golf program.
My academic interests are diverse, ranging from business psychology to sports medicine. I am eager to merge my passion for both fields to build a successful career in the future. I attend one of the most challenging high schools in the country, which is ranked as the top school academically in Texas. Maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or above, I strive to excel in academics, just as I do in sports.
What sets me apart is my ability to make a team better. Coaches describe me as coachable, hardworking, athletic, and a natural leader. I lead by example, and others see me as a person of impeccable character, high-integrity, encouraging, and self-motivated. I have played baseball, ice hockey, and golf, but I made the decision to focus solely on golf my sophomore year to improve my game with the goal to play in college.
Lastly, I believe in giving back to my community. I have volunteered for Impact18, a program that helps students with Autism participate in sports. It has been a privilege to contribute to a cause that is close to my heart, and I am committed to serving my community in various ways.
I am confident that my determination, leadership skills, and passion for golf will make me a valuable addition to a college golf program.
