From a young age, I knew that I wanted to play hockey as a career. I grew up watching the pros do amazing things in an environment that feels surreal, with so much energy running through the rink. I knew that I wanted to be there. I also realize that school is a big part of life and getting an education is vital. I believe that I am a very coachable person due to my desire to learn and improve as many of my previous coaches have told me. I am very dedicated to the task at hand and will always give a full 110% effort to complete whatever it is that I am doing. I am a strong leader on and off the ice but can also take suggestions and direction from my peers and coaches. On the note of being a leader, I hold myself accountable to be a good person by being kind and very caring to others and to make sure to help out whenever I can and to show good manners. I am also a team player who makes sure that the team is in the right frame of mind and is able to work as a group, I make sure to use my teammates on the ice to our advantage as a whole and work together to overcome obstacles and continue developing as a group. I'm a unique player that can be a valuable asset for any team, as I have developed to play both sides of the puck exceptionally well, while continuing to build my skillset. I'm a player, and a person, that can be relied on to get the job done in any situation. I'm always looking to improve on the ice, in the classroom, and continue to build my skills off the ice as a person as well. Here is a little bit about my career in recent history. In the 2019-2020 season I was an assistant captain for our Bantam AA team in Strathcona, Alberta. I played my first two years of Midget for Pilot Mound U17 Prep in the CSSHL in Pilot Mound, Manitoba. My Grade 12 year was my first year of Junior, as I played for the Boston Junior Bruins in the USPHL, in Marlborough, Massachusetts (2022-2023 season), and just finished playing my second year of Junior for the Elmira Impact in Elmira, New York, in the USPHL (2023-2024 season). I am currently playing for the Lake Cowichan Kraken in the VIJHL. My future goals for college are to play NCAA and develop my skills to play Division 1 hockey there.
