Nicholas Kempf '24 Recruiting Profile

One thing thing that I’ve dreamed about growing up is playing division 1 collegiate hockey. Another goal of mine is to play hockey at a high level beyond college. This would give me the chance to repay my dad back for all the money he has spent for me while I was playing hockey. As a goalie, I love to play the puck. I think I would be a good goalie for teams that want to quickly get out of their defensive zone, since playing the puck definitely helps with that. Something that makes me different from other recruits is that I will do anything that it takes to win. Even if its a game of basketball(which I’m not very good at) against my friend, I hate losing. This also affects me academically because I  don’t like to have bad grades. I think this is the reason that I’ve done well in school.
