I entered high school with a goal to play college basketball. While the past two years were fairly successful, I decided that since I am getting closer to college, I needed to make important decisions, so I decided to pursue track and field. I still have a lot to learn in order to perform as best as I possibly can. My first season of track and field was surprisingly successful considering my lack of experience and I loved it, so I am prepared to work my hardest to continue my track career beyond high school. It would be a great experience to run in track and field during college, especially so I can help my mother while money is tight. I plan to put in the work on and off the track for the 2 remaining years of high school to establish a strong foundation for years to come.
