I am going into my first year of high school this fall, and will be playing for the Houston Wild AA Bantam team in the DSTHL in 2019-20.
Beyond highschool, I looking for the best school academically for me, and a school that matches my hockey skill. In hockey I want to make it to a D1 hockey and maybe even the NHL. I want to play at the highest level of competition. I am always looking for a challenge.
Academically I am looking for a school that would help me in the Architecture and/or the engineering field. Hockey wise I am looking for a school that would match my level of competition and skill. In my 8th grade year I took a number of advanced courses such as Biology, Algebra, Advanced Spanish, and Engineering. Throughout the year I have maintained good grades for the year and plan to continue advanced classes in high school.
For the past 4 years, I been playing travel hockey. I had tried 2 years before and never made a travel team, so I took private hockey and skating lessons. One year I had finally made travel but played on the lowest level. It was my goal to make it to the highest level possible for my age. I knew this would take hard work and dedication. I continued to practice and hone my skills. I continued to play for the low level team for another season till finally I had made AA. I was put on the team as the 18 man and was told it was up to me to earn my spot. I finished the year with the second highest goals and fourth in points. I continued to improve my skills by going to Pro Ambitions Hockey Camp, Hockey Opportunity Camp, Bobby Reynolds Hockey Academy, And am going to National Hockey Training Camp at Berkshire Academy this summer. With my hard work and training I ended the season being number 13 in the state for points.
