Hello, my name is Matthew Lioce, and I am a rising senior at Milford High School in Milford, Massachusetts. I play for my high school hockey team, the Hopedale/Milford Raiders, and AAA club hockey for the Northstar Hockey Club in the EHF, based in Westborough, MA. I’m a passionate and driven defenseman, and I’ve dedicated myself over the years to consistently developing my skills and becoming the best athlete I can be.
Academically, I’m proud to maintain strong grades while challenging myself with a rigorous course load that includes both Honors and Advanced Placement classes. Education is extremely important to me, and I’m committed to excelling both in the classroom and on the ice.
Outside of hockey and academics, I stay involved in many areas of school life. I’m a member of several honor societies, serve on the student council, participate in a student-faculty band, and also play varsity lacrosse for my high school. I believe in giving back to my community and have volunteered countless hours, which has taught me the importance of teamwork, leadership, and resilience. These experiences have shaped who I am, helping me understand the power of commitment and the value of a strong, supportive community.
