I have spent fourteen years of my life devoted to the game of hockey. I love being a part of a team and playing hockey. As a result, I have strived to be the best on the ice at all times. I have worked countless hours in the gym and on the ice training to improve my hockey skills and game. I have a never give up attitude. Consequently, I have been able to apply this outside of hockey, in my schoolwork, and in any task that is presented to me. For this reason, I am very thankful to have the opportunity to play a sport like hockey that I love so dearly as it has molded my character to become the strong young man I am today. Proof of this can be seen as I am a team leader on the ice always striving to be the hardest worker on the team. I set a standard for all of my teammates to push them out of their comfort zone and achieve new heights. Building relationships with my teammates has helped to make me a successful hockey player. In conclusion, I was accepted to the Breck School, one of the most academically competitive schools in Minnesota. At Breck School, I came in junior year and was able to improve the chemistry of the team by earning their respect, making connections, being a playmaker, a leader on the ice and playing with passion. We traveled together and I created comradery whether we won or lost making this time exceptional.
