Matteo Guastadisegni '24 Recruiting Profile

My goals for College are to play at a level in which I feel comfortable but also becoming better and testing myself. I have been playing hockey for 9 years now My love of the sport started when watching my cousin play in the NHL when I was 5.  I became infatuated with the game very young.  Since then I have strived to work hard and I am always trying to improve myself. This coming winter will be my third year playing for my schools varsity team. I’ve played on multiple high level teams throughout the years and was told by my different coaches how much of  a coachable player I am. How I am able to take the constructive criticisms they give me, and learn and improve from it. I have also been told by my coaches that they like my attention skills when they are explaining drills or going over anything. I have been selected as my current teams alternate captain, and my coach looks up to me to lead the team, along with our captain.
