Personal Statement

I am a student that significantly values their education and athletic career. I aspire to attend an exceptional college and demonstrate my efforts in attaining a degree for pre-medicinal studies. Playing hockey is a passion and I demonstrate just as much effort on the ice as I do in the classroom. Hockey keeps me focused and on task with my academics, but those minutes spent on the ice allow me to regroup and refresh my mind, ultimately helping to build on my athletic skill as well as educational development. Through hockey, I became an organized student and developed time management skills. This allows me to work diligently on assignments as well as work hard on the ice. My academic determination and strong work ethic continue to motivate me to reach the next level. I am a persistent recruit striving to play for an elite team and striving to gain an education that will guide me towards my future.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
