My Name is Brendan Pomerantz. I currently play for the Rockets Hockey Club Premier team as well as playing games for the NCDC Squad as well.
I am enjoying my season of Junior Hockey billeting near the Rockets Home rink with a handful of my teammates.
I spent much of my youth hockey career with the AAA/Premier Long Island Royals. We were a playoff of team in the AYHL in our last 3 seasons together. I spent my last season of youth hockey playing with the Westchester Express. It was tough year due to Covid, but the Coaching and Managerial staff did a great job filling a complete schedule in spite of all the challenges.
I also was able to represent my High School - Half Hollow Hills. I was always our team's number one defensemen leading the league in icetime and always amongst the league leaders in scoring. We went undefeated in JV...Varsity Playoff Champions as a Sophomore, State Champions as a Junior, League Champs as a Senior (States were cancelled).
I pride myself on being a puck transporter....a good decision maker knowing when to push the play or find the open man. I am known for always giving a 100% and being extremely coachable. My teammates like to be on the ice with me. I get them the puck!
I love the game and I am focused on playing in College.
