Hello, I am Joseph Valenti. I will graduate in the year 2028. Born in 2010, I started hockey when I was five and have been in love ever since. I would love to play in college which would give me a chance to show my hard work and dedication to the best league in the world. My current GPA is 94.33 and I’m taking PRE AP English, PRE AP World History, Geometry, and Chemistry, and while taking all of these classes I am 20th out of 180 students for grades. Currently I’m playing for the Rochester Jr. Americans AA mixed team and leading the team in points. I am captain of that team and the starting center and have been all season. I also made varsity as a freshman here in Geneva NY, I am on second line where I play left wing.
I also hope to fulfill my education further into college with engineering. I‘m a visual and physical learner because I feel I work better doing something rather than receiving a lecture. Engineers work with their hands a lot and try and fix problems in your everyday life, and I hope to be one someday if hockey doesn‘t work out for me.
