Joseph Geary '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joseph Geary and like most hockey players I probably learned to skate before walking. I was on the ice at age 3 and by age 5 I was playing a year up. This generally has been the pattern. I like challenging myself and always leave 110% on the ice. I played travel tier 2 for the Westchester Vipers in Elmsford NY where we ranked well amongst top teams. I am currently the Captain of my high school team and also play for Brewster Bulldogs (applecore) junior team in Brewster NY. I have a positive outlook, a great work ethic and believe I can be a great asset to your team both on and off the ice. I have been faced with a multitude of challenges both academically and on the ice. I have faced all head on and I'm willing, able and capable of putting forth what is required and needed from me to help our team move forward if given the opportunity.
