Personal Statement

D:  Dedicated
I:   Intelligent
L:  Loyal
L:  Leader
O: Optimistic
N:  Never Give Up

I state the above because I feel they are a true reflection of my character. I am a 6'1" goalie, who will be graduating in the year 2014.  Currently I have a 3.9 GPA and I am a member of the National Honor Society, as well as the Junior Classical League, and I am a Student Ambassador for Cardinal Gibbons High School. I have been playing hockey since the age of four, and have played at a competitive travel level for ten of my fourteen seasons.

I am interested in exploring all division levels in all geographic locations, and I am interested in a career in Physical Therapy.

I most recently played play with the Carolina Lightning Hockey organization. My current stats were 12-3-5 with a .869 save percentage and a GAA of 1.33 I also recorded 7 shut outs. What I offer is a hard working, dedicated player with a "can do" attitude. I am extremely team focused and always looking for ways to improve, both mentally and physically.  Ideally, I am looking to become a scholar athlete who excels in his studies, while being able to play a sport I am passionate about.  Also, I am looking at a financial need situation to help with my education.

I am not the most talkative, I let my actions speak for me both on and off the ice.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
