In all that I do, especially academics and athletics, I set high goals for myself including enrollment in many honors and AP courses. I have focussed my life around four key pillars; leadership, service, scholarship, and character. I have recognized that being a leader takes self-initiative, realizing this gave me the vision to orchestrate help for victims of Hurricane Florence in Swansboro, North Carolina. Through the guidance of my high school's soccer coach , I led the soccer team to pack and deliver essential items for the Swansboro community. Through encouragement from my coaches, teachers, and parents, I learned early on that self reflection and feedback is necessary to grow in maturity. The MasterClass Futbol Academy has allowed me to mentor young, novice players with their technical skills. Furthermore, as a soccer referee, I have helped young kids understand the rules of soccer and have guided their growth in the sport. Just as a soccer ball is made of the many patches stitched together, in my 16 years, I have developed as a multidimensional person and player formed of many experiences that have shaped my view on leadership, scholarship, character, and service.
