Personal Statement

Hi Coaches,

This season, I am playing for the Ventura Vikings in the USPHL Premier.  The Vikings joined the USPHL this season. I'm excited to be a big contributor to this team's inaugural season. This is my opportunity to be part of a group of young men who will be building up this team from the ground up. It won't be easy but working together and hard, we are aiming high for success. This year is a great steppingstone in my junior career to hopefully open up doors for me to  make a Tier II hockey team for my last two seasons of junior hockey.

Once my junior years are over, my personal goal is to sign with a NCAA team and complete a university degree. I plan on studying Sports/Business Management in a University that has a solid education program but also understands their student-athletes and supports them where possible to generate all-around success.

After NCAA and the successful completion of university, I would like to break into the Pro circuit either in North America or Europe. These milestones, which give me a 6 to 8-year future outlook, are broken down into achievable smaller goals that make it realistic and will lead to success.

Over the years, I have learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, giving back through volunteering, and leadership. I have the talent to compete for Junior and College teams, and I also have the character, work ethic and maturity to make an immediate impact in your program. I know that I have what it takes to be the top netminder on your team!
