I continue to pursue my goal of playing the most competitive hockey possible while obtaining the best education I can. I currently play hockey in Tier 2 Jr A for the Burlington Cougars of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL), while attending McMaster University on a part time basis in the Math and Sciences program. For the Cougars, I play center and pride myself on being a solid and dependable two-way team player. I'm trusted in both power play and short handed situations and comfortable with the 'earn your ice' situations. My work ethic is to continually look for ways to improve my game, to eat healthy and workout in the gym in key areas needed that will help improve specific on-ice skills. Academically I'm strong in mathematics and looking to further my studies in this area. What I contribute as a candidate to a D1 university is demonstrated discipline and dedication to being a valued and respected team player, high level of hockey sense, dependable, with a proven ability to balance the competing demands of being an academic athlete. My personal goal is to earn a D1 scholarship with a leading school in my academic area of studies, while playing hockey at the most competitive level possible.
