Max Buffone '22 Recruiting Profile

For my whole hockey career I have always been very dedicated, determined, focused, hardworking and willing to to whatever it takes to get to the next level. I am a leader on the ice by always pushing my limits, giving maximum effort, and encouraging other teammates. I am also a leader off the ice by being respectful to everyone, working hard at achieving high grades in my classes, and doing many hours of off ice training. I am a very coachable player with great listening skills and a team player willing to do anything to benefit the team. School is a very high priority of mine, I study hard so I can go to a post secondary school for Business and major in Finance. When I am older I would like to be an Investment banker. I am able to balance working hard and achieving high grades in school without sacrificing any performance on the ice because of my devotion and work ethic while also being able to spend time with friends and family and do other sports and extra curricular activities. My Goal in hockey is to play Division I NCAA so I can receive top notch education and play the sport I love at a very high pace and competitive level. On the ice I am a very confident two-way defence man that makes great plays on defence to generate them into great offensive plays. I take pride in my smooth skating, hockey IQ and ability to make plays, they are the best areas of my game. Achievements I have received in hockey are TBMHA rookie of the year, TBMHA defence man of the year, Pewee Coaches award, Kings Quarterly player of the year award, and Captain of the Thunder Bay Kings AAA.
