Hello, my name is Daniel Ferrante and I am an 18 year old student attending Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario for Economics and Financial Management. I currently play for the extramural team at Laurier’s secondary campus in Brantford, Ontario as a starting goaltender and compete against other travelling college and university level teams. I have been playing goalie for 11 years, 7 of which at a competitive level within the GTHL. I am a hard and dedicated worker both on the ice and in the classroom, and I'm excited to be able to demonstrate that. What makes me a good candidate is not only my dedication towards the sport but as well as towards my team. I believe what builds success is not talent but unmatched comradery and I believe I bring that to the table. I'm a very outgoing and respectful individual, and I am very adaptable towards different environments and levels/styles of play. Thank you for taking the time to read my statement and please consider me as a possible future asset for you 2024-25 season.
