My goal for college is to play college lacrosse and be a four year starter. I believe I am good candidate because I am determined, dedicated, and can overcome adversity. I am the type of player that may not be better than everyone else, but will work harder everyday to make myself better than everyone else. I will work not only to improve myself, but also to help improve my teammates. Another reason I will be a good asset to a team is because I love the game. My love of the game is the reason I strive to get better everyday, and it is the reason I go out and work hard everyday. Academically, I am different from candidates. When I am not playing lacrosse, most of the time, I am studying and working hard on my courses. I try to live by the philosophy of student before athlete. One of my strengths, both academically and athletically, is that I am willing to do what it takes to make myself better. My character is different from everyone else because of my past experiences. I am deaf in my left ear as a result of tumor in my inner ear. But, as a result of this it has given my a new appreciation for life and everything and everyone who has been in my life.
