My desire to continue my lacrosse and academic career has brought me to a better understanding of what it takes to achieve these goals. Through hard work and determination, this year although not ideal, has also given me the tools to work through obstacles before me. I have learned that becoming a better athlete, is not only about helping myself, it is helping my team to grow successfully. As I push myself to be the best, I also want to help those around me, whether that is on the lacrosse field or in the classroom. Academically, I am also very hard working and I am able to figure solutions to problems using the resources I have as well as continuing to not give up until I reach the goal I have set. Athletically, my understanding of lacrosse IQ and why it is so important has brought be many victories over my career. I also want to contribute to the team through leadership and the effort I give in order to accomplish our goals collectively as well as personally. I believe playing lacrosse at the collegiate level will allow me to play at the highest level of competition and give even more of the tools and resources I need to better succeed as I continue my education and athletics.
