Amiyah Peters '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Amiyah Peters. I am a 5’3 point guard/shooting guard. I have been playing basketball ever since I was in kindergarten. Growing up I continued to work my hardest and achieve many things! I was always brought up to higher competition from playing with the boys in 5th grade, to being a starter on the Mashpee Girls Varsity team my 7th grade year. At first, I was nervous to play with older girls but as time started adding on, not only did I have fun and was not nervous anymore, it made me overall a better player.  I have almost always been the smallest on the court but that never stopped me, never will. I am very aggressive, I can handle the ball very well and have a decent shot. Playing with many AAU teams on my journey. I’ve played with the MCW Starz and am now playing with the Cape Cod Warriors. During the previous fall I joined the Swish Training Program as well.  I am definitely working to improve and play at the next level.
