JT Gentzel '21 Recruiting Profile

2020 has presented challenging times, but through all of the negative I've turned my time into something positive. I've used this time to listen and learn life lessons to help develop my goals and aspirations. As the youngest child of three, I have always been competitive and strive to be a better version of who I was yesterday.  My goal as a Marine Biologist is to expand on my love for animals and navigate our ever changing environment.  

Although this is my current career path, I am also enthusiastic for the different doors and opportunities Marine Biology may present.   

My view is that there is always something to improve on. I've been playing lacrosse since I was 4 years old and I hope to continue not only my physical, but emotional growth as a collegiate athlete.  I am a strong team player and will bring passion, support and chemistry to your program.
