My name is Chris Howard. I am a junior at Mahopac High School. I am a dual sport athlete. Playing both football and lacrosse at the Varsity level. I first began playing lacrosse in the 4th grade. Over the years, I played midfield/attack positions. In those positions, I was a solid reliable player. However, in my Freshman year, at the suggestion of my coach, I tried a defensive position, and that is when my lacrosse game changed. I went from being a solid reliable player, to being an aggressive leader on the field. As a result, my skill and knowledge base of lacrosse has progressed to a level which I never had imagined. As a defensive player I have made a point of building a strong relationship with my goalie and I strive to be a leader on the field. Based on my leadership skills and knowledge of the game, I was given the honor of being named the Captain of my high school's JV lacrosse team. I continue to look for opportunities to improve my game by attending off season training sessions and playing on summer travel teams. It is my goal to continue to perfect my game and play lacrosse at the college level. You can see some of my videos on Youtube under " Chris Howard Mahopac Defense".
