Playing college lacrosse has been my dream ever since I picked up a lacrosse stick five years ago. I play midfield for my high school team, Middle Country Maddogs located in Suffolk County, Long Island. This has been my dream for a while now and I am willing to do whatever it takes to reach it and work 110% to achieve it because I know that's what it takes to reach this goal and also compete once I get there. I'm very coachable and do whatever I need to do to help my team win. If you need me to run through a brick wall, I'll do it to help us win. I take pride in what I do and I try to achieve on the field and most importantly off the field in the classroom. I also try to be a leader, for I was captain of my middle school team and now also chosen as captain for my JV high school team. I will strive to also achieve this once I play for varsity next year. To me lacrosse is a life style and will always be part of me for as long as I live. I also try to be as knowledgable of the game as I can for I try to watch college lacrosse and most importantly watch my position. I also coach my brothers 7th grade Middle Country team for the second year now. I know this will take work and I'm willing to do it, for this is my dream and I wont stop until I achieve it and excel in it on the field and also in the classroom studying for my future so I can later achieve off the field. Thank you -Gregory Gurello class of 2016.
