I came to the sport of lacrosse a little bit later than most of my teammates. My family and I are huge baseball fans and that is where I started as a kid. I love the game for but it wasn't for me. When I picked up a lax stick for the first time I loved it! I am a people person and the strong team aspect of the game was a great fit for me. I literally haven't put my lacrosse stick down in four years. I have found something that I enjoy doing and I found a second family with my teammates. The season is never long enough and games are always too short. I have learned so much about the sport and about myself in the last four years and I want to continue that journey. I know wherever I play lacrosse after high school, I will bring energy, enthusiasm and a "can do" attitude. I'm so honored that my one of my high school coaches has asked me to work with his younger team and teach them a few of the face-off basics. I enjoy sharing my passion for the sport and I will definitely bring that to my next team.
Playing on a collegiate level will help me continue to work on the time management skills needed to juggle the responsibilities of academics and athletics. I'm eager for the competition both on the field and in the classroom. I have high expectations for myself and want to get the most of my college experience by learning and playing at the highest level that I am capable of. I want to spend the next four years representing my new school with pride and dedication. I'll fly the school flag high!!!
