2016 Jay Winters ...Personal Statement
I am a hard working student-athlete who plays lacrosse, basketball and golf. My coaches have said I can be fast, shifty, and athletic with a strong IQ for lacrosse and basketball. Areas I need to improve are strength, defense, and stick work (both hands). Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill is a young, private, college preparatory school with a very challenging academic curriculum and an enrollment of 530 students. My goal is to try to make honor roll each semester. Also a part-time employee at the Duke Golf Club, I hope to balance school, three sports, and a part-time job well while improving athletically to help Trinity's teams and the Carolina Cannons.
