Dear Coaches,
Allow me to introduce myself to y'all. My name is Jonathan Layton, and I am a 2023 keeper from Atlanta, Georgia. While I live in Atlanta now, I grew up in New York. Growing up in New York, I played for FC Westchester USSDA, and currently, in Atlanta, I play for Southern Soccer Academy. While soccer is an important part of my life, I value academics heavily as well. On the field, I view myself as a winner and a leader, and in the classroom, my straight A grades show my determination to be the best. I personify resilience and that trait has led me to all of my success in life. I have overcome every obstacle that has ever come in my way. I have gone from being told by doctors as a child that I would be lucky to ever run to playing at the highest levels and leading my conference in high school in saves. I believe my will to overcome adversity, along with my will to succeed in the classroom, is why I would be a great fit at your institution and inside your program.
