I have been playing soccer since I was five years old. I made playing keeper my primary position at about 8 years old. I have become a soccer referee. Lancer SC plays in the Northern Illinois League. My U19 finished spring 2019 at 6-0. Our indoor 19-20 has started strong at 3-0.
I work hard with my high school team but love the competition that my club team provides. I play with Lancers for indoor, spring and summer. I make the extra commitment to travel to games even though I can't practice with the team because I attend a boarding school. I am a leader on the field and encourage my teammates. I am not intimidated on breakaways, when the box gets crowded or PKs.
I have always made the choice for a school with exceptional academics so I enrolled at not only the top STEM high school in the US but a top high school overall. I have taken Number Theory and an starting Linear Algebra this semester as a junior. So yeah, I understand angles. Since IMSA is a boarding high school, I have to be responsible for myself in many aspects of my life. I was a golf caddy this past summer in addition to soccer. I qualified for USA Track and Field nationals in high jump.
Attending a college where I will continue to develop academically and with a strong team is my goal. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible.
