My goals as a collegiate student-athlete are to find the college that best fits my academic and athletic needs, continue my soccer career at a high level and be successful, and graduate with a degree and educational experience that will provide me with a great future in my field.
I have been a goalkeeper on my school team's Varsity squad since my sophomore year. I also play for Illinois Fusion Soccer Club and Central Illinois United. My shot stopping abilities, communication, and ability to distribute the ball well to my teammates in numerous ways are qualities that make me a viable option as a collegiate soccer athlete. I am always improving on my skill and physical abilities, whether it be by training and lifting weights in the off-season, or through training sessions for my school and club. I have never shied away from hard work; I never back down from any task thrown at me, and have always encouraged my teammates to do the same. I believe hard work and practice are the only ways to reach your goals, not just in sports, but in school, your job, and life.
With all of these qualities, I believe I have what it takes to be a successful collegiate student-athlete
