I just love Soccer. I love everything about the game but most importantly I love playing Soccer. It started as a casual recreational sport for me during the days I played in my elementary school in Nigeria. When I moved to Canada, I went for my club try-out and made it into the competitive team without having played competitively before. That sparked my passion even more and I have since then been putting in the work to keep improving, and just basically keep loving the game.
I would say my greatest strength is my grit/determination and with that comes self-motivation. I watch different soccer players all around the world and train to learn the skills that I see them display. I practice rigorously both in and outside my club. During games, I am all about being a team player. I would say I am a play-maker type of player. I like creating chances as I try to read the game. My pace is also remarkable.
In the classroom, I put in the work too. I study hard to keep my grades up. Education is very important to me and my family. I appreciate the importance of opportunity, sacrifice and determination which I learnt from my life experience so far.
I’m hoping to for the right college match in order to have a once in a lifetime college experience both in academics and athletics.
