Vincent Natale '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Vincent Natale and I am a 5’10” 140 lb. senior goalkeeper at Linganore High School.  As a freshman I attended  Urbana High School.  I was the starting JV goalkeeper and led our team throughout the season by using my leadership skills and technical abilities on the field.  My freshman year I was able to experience our varsity team win the county tournament and make it to the state finals which set high goals for my future as an Urbana High School player.  My sophomore year (UHS) I started off strong and kept a clean sheet for the first several games of our season.   During my sophomore season I showed my peers and coaches my good work ethic and communication/leadership skills.  I chose to only train with my club team and my private goalkeeper coach due to COVID-19 during my junior year HS season (2020-2021) and have now transferred to Linganore High School for my senior year.  Outside of high school, I train with my FC Frederick CCL2 club team and my private goalkeeper coach, Laurie Pells George.  During my 2018/19 club season I led my FC Frederick team to have an amazing season where we won our first tournament of the season and only lost 2 league games. Unfortunately our 2019/2020 season never got off the ground due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

 I am an excellent student and strive to get the best education I can by maintaining my good grades. I am still undecided on my major, but I am interested in the sports medicine and physical education fields.  I also enjoy working with children. I am a good, hardworking student and have lots of friends. I am a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Futsal clubs at my school. I also volunteer my time as a coach for the Urbana youth wrestling team.

I plan to go to a college that meets my academic needs and hope that I can play soccer while I am there, too.
