My name is Shawn Tracy and here is a little bit about me.
I have attended a small school in Kingston Massachusetts since Kindergarten. I started playing JV High School soccer in sixth and seventh grade. Sometimes it was scary to play against much bigger and older players but my teammates loved having me and my skills on the field. When I got to eighth grade I played right back as a starter on the Varsity High School team. Because our school is a small school, I have had to be a versatile player to hold the defense together as well as moving to other positions as necessary based on the opponent and score. A coach can put me anywhere on the field as an asset to our team. Sophomore year we were League Champions. Our team has a lot of heart and determination, we never give up. I believe any team would realize how hard I will work every practice and every game. I do not give up and my teammates feed off my level of energy and desire to compete.
I was named Captain my Junior year and again as a Senior. As a Captain I have loved motivating and challenging my teammates to be their best and try their hardest. I also had a blast designing hoodies, leading a fundraiser for the team and raising money for a Breast Cancer Walk in Boston as a team/volunteer activity. My teammates are a great group of guys.
I received a lot of awards last year, as a Junior. I am very proud of my accomplishments and I love the game! I would love to play soccer in College so I can continue to positively contribute to a team like yours.
