Personal Statement
My collegiate goals and aspirations are to push myself to be the best person I can be, to not only benefit myself, but my community. What makes me different from my peers is my tenacity. My entire life has been based off accomplishing minor goals to secure a path to the bigger picture. In the classroom I exert my efforts into problem solving. Wether in a group or on my own I strive to always find the answer I'm looking for. As a competitive simmer, swimming is truly more to me than just a sport, it reflects my core beliefs as an individual. In the pool every action made down to the millisecond matters to the team as a whole. Win or lose it takes self-moivation, responsibility, and comittment to persevere.
