My name is Alvin Ulerio I am from new york city, I can play outside back and center back. I first started playing soccer at the age of 9 as a goalkeeper in a local park, playing pickup games, later on, I transitioned on to an outfield position because it would get very boring back there being a goalkeeper and because I just loved the feeling of stopping an attacking drive. What made me fall in love with soccer was growing up and watching the world cup games, I just loved seeing those players play with so much passion and heart for their country, that’s something that really inspired me to want to feel that for myself.
One unique characteristic I possess is that I am very dedicated towards my goals on and off the pitch. One of my biggest accomplishments this year has got to be being named captain of my high school soccer team, this was a huge honor being selected by my peers and coaches, some of my accomplishments outside of soccer would have to be having the chance to go to districts in track for the 4x400 race with no past experience, I have also been personally selected to take advanced placement classes at my school. My goal with the sport of soccer is to play at the highest level I can, I and I am very confident that if I continue working hard I will play at these high levels.
