Personal Statement
I am a striker for Triboro United Soccer Club, born in 2007, and ever since I was young, football has been my life.
My father taught me everything to know about football when I was 7 years old, and I have been playing the beautiful game ever since. I currently play in a high tier of New York Soccer, in USYS and in the State and National Tournaments. I currently play against a high echelon of NY teams, having played against many high ranking academy teams in tournaments such as the Potomac National Memorial Day Tournaments and more.
Despite struggles with mental health during the pandemic, I trained hard to recover from my weakened physical state and through my love for the sport, I escaped from a dark time and managed to improve myself both mentally and physically. I have been playing the game despite adversity throughout my life in hopes of reaching the apex level of football in the United States. I love competition, and am driven by the passion of playing against stronger teams and opposition.
Overall, I am looking to further develop my passion and love of the sport, and would love to continue playing at a high level in college. What I've lacked I have always worked hard to make up for and to reach the level I desired to play at.
