Lee Hartke '23 Recruiting Profile

I’m a 17 year multi sport athlete looking forward to playing college soccer.  I am a senior year at Avon Central School in upstate New York. 

I have been a starting varsity soccer player since my freshman year.  Sophomore ,Junior & Senior year I was  captain and was named a Livingston County All-Star. 

I recently ended my senior season with the best team in school history.  Overall record, 21-1-0.  75 goals scored by and only 4 against.  18 shut out.  Livingston County champs, Section V Champs (first time in school history), NYS final 4.  Personally, I had 32 goals and 5 assists.
I was Ligo get on Ounty Playernof the Year, All  tournament team, All Greater Rochester first team and Second team All State .

In soccer my strengths are my work ethic, foot skills and ability to find the gaps allowing me to set up my teammates for goal opportunities.  Picking Splinters described me as “Commanding presence in the middle third; Hartke slows the game to his speed and makes high-level decisions, equipped with a confident touch and field vision, he becomes the center of Avon’s offense, quiet on the ball he smoothly shifts from creator to finisher with little to no drop off; anticipates the play well on defense and understands the purpose of containment to create shape.”

Although I primarily play center-mid or striker, I also like playing defense. 

I also play varsity basketball. I won 2 sectional titles with this team.  

 I look forward to visiting campuses and finding the best school for me.
