Soccer has been a passion of mine ever since I can remember. I began playing at 4 years old, and from that point on, I have strived to be the best possible player I can be. I have a work ethic that’s unlike anyone else, and I am always willing to be working on improvements, not only as a player but also as a student. I am a team player, who creates opportunities to score while also helping others do the same. I take my academics very seriously and would love to be successful in life revolving around a business career. My dedication and hard work have recently paid off with all of my awards this past soccer season and my recent induction into National Honor Society.
One of the four main pillars of National Honor Society is Character. My character is shown both on and off the field. I have worked and help members in my community by mowing lawns and helping with house projects. I was honored one summer with an opportunity to coach a young boys’ soccer team. I embraced this opportunity and it was an amazing experience for me as I was able to share my love for the game of soccer, teaching the kids new skills and techniques. Another pillar of NHS is leadership. My leadership is evident by being team captain on my past travel teams, this year as a junior on my Varsity High School team, as well as other JV sports in my earlier years, such as lacrosse and basketball.
I love taking advantages of opportunities that arise around me, and I hope to do so with my future of college soccer. I will create a positive atmosphere around me while pushing myself and teammates to be our very best.
